I love this outfit. My husband just got back from Europe yesterday and brought me a few goodies (the bag and sweatshirt)! I was so happy with what he got me but I was more excited he was home. Life gets lonely when your best friend is gone. Lucky for me, Stanley was great company!
Home is where the heart is. For me, home is where my family is. My heart is with them. It's hard to want to be anywhere they are not. However, i know life isn't that way and I have to be "mature" about it when I really just want to be by my Momma's side all day.
This week was Spring Break at school and so while the hubby was across the big pond Stanley and I came home. There really isn't anything better for the soul than to be home with your family. It's rejunevating and always reminds you of who you are. Home is the smells that brings back a rush of great memories. It's the hugs only your grandparents can give. It's seeing your cousins and catching up on life. Homes is knowing your parents are going to volunteer you to help at church while your home, and you're grateful because there's nothing else you'd rather be doing. It's staying up late with your sister. Home is sitting on the back porch soaking up the sun with your mom. It's pouring your heart out to your dad, telling him all your fears and dreams because he's your biggest fan and you need his encouragement. Home is peace and comfort. Home is rest. Home is love. Home is a gift to be cherished.
I needed this trip home more than I can describe. I like to think that home needed me too.

You know those times in life when you just need a change? It could be a diet change such as Beyonce and Jay-Z's vegan diet that has become so popular. However, sometimes it's just something small like reorganizing your closet or getting rid of magazines.
For me, this time it was my hair. I have had the same style for like almost a year! So, I took the plunge for bangs! I really like them and it was exactly what I was needing.
Change is a good thing. It keeps us on our toes because we never want to stand through life flat footed. What are some changes you are currently making that are small but keep you fresh and feeling good?
